Black Metal history. Small talk about how I recorded the Burzum albums. And yes, I am not recording in a car this time, and wearing (some) orange. Oooooh... the change!

Varg, you fascinate me. I was very much into the whole black metal thing as a teen in the mid 90's, but later grew out of it (for want of a better phrase) and whilst I rarely listen to it anymore, some of it remains with me to today; Emperor's 'Nightside' and 'Anthems' albums, a few tracks from other bands and your 'Hvis lyset tar oss' album, which was the first Burzum record I owned. I find you a very interesting and intelligent person, and I wanted to ask you, when you were creating the early Burzum work, what it was that drove you to do so? I remember reading, and you speaking on your channel, that you were not a metal fan before Burzum; only a few select tracks in fact, so what is it that made you choose that style as an outlet? Also, many regard 'Hvis lyset tar oss', in particular, as an early example, though not specifically a pioneer of, the DSBM (depressive suicidal black metal) sub genre of black metal. I wanted to ask if this was something you were conscious to when you were creating it; was it your intention, or was it completely coincidental/accidental? I'd love to see your answers to these here if you read them - as said, you fascinate me, as a person, and I'd love perhaps one day to sit with you over a fire and have a conversation or two about history, your opinions/perspectives, etc. For now, your videos on your channel will do.

What all of this proves is that equipment is nothing, that you can make astounding music with the cheapest pile of shit, and make a steaming pile of dogs droppings with the most expensive equipment in the world. It’s what’s in your mind that counts.

This name is even more pretentious
This name is even more pretentious

I find it a little sad but clever that the drums weren't played solidly for the length of songs like Det Som Engang Var. It would take a lot of practice, patience and effort to keep it all sounding in time and as basic as the rhythm seems, playing a track like that for 7-15 minutes is somewhat tiring, like lifting a small weight but 100 times instead of lifting heavy weights four times. I know when I've played Burzum's songs I can't help but thrown in more fills as the playing is very... disciplined but that probably has to do with the drums being copy pasted.

Varg, you have alot to offer your people, but you must accept that music is part of your destiny, part of your wyrd\orlog, the system hates that your able to create music to inspire your people. Your probably the only branded " neo nazi" in the world that can still have there music thrusted into the underground mainstream whether they like it or not. Your music just isn't " black metal" it's the same music of ancestors such as, Wagner, Beethoven, etc. Just done with electronic different instruments, a type of music created for a new generation, a generation of warriors, I Know that this is very romantic considering our current situation. You've been given a musical gift from the gods, so i implore you to not give up this beautiful gift, you can continue to guide a whole new generation with your music. Look at all the people you are influencing with your YT.and guess what it's all because of your music. Music is the most spiritual of the arts, it moves and influences like no other art. Please continue to create what our enemies hate the most and that's that your able to create this music to guide and inspire. But quitting you are making the enemies of our people very happy indeed. Just a thought Varg, I Know that you will do as you see fit, but we'd love it if you had a premonition lol and reconsider. Either way love your music and Yt. Take care brother

Good lord... Easy with that file, you wanna a sharp chain, for that, you need to file it in one direction, from inside to the edge. With a perfect angle, the file need to run in that lean angle. If you filing both direction, in, and back, than you taking off the edge, what you make with the prew. movement...
